What is "Special Event" catering?
We consider an event to be "special event" catering when a client requests staffing, china, silver, and/or linen.
What can I expect the cost for my event to consist of?
While the cost of an event will vary based on the complexity of the food, service, and equipment needs, the following breakdown will serve as a general guideline of what to expect:
Food and beverage will make up approximately 50% of the total cost.
staffing is a significant portion of the total cost, usually about 25%. rebecca's cafe supplies a full complement of professional, uniformed staff. Staff is required each time we serve liquor or provide equipment. There is a five-hour minimum charge per staff person.
miscellaneous costs make up the remaining 25%. These costs may include china, silver, or linen. rebecca's cafe can also provide full bar service, music and other entertainment, and floral arrangements if requested. How much notice is needed to plan an event? Again, the complexity of the event will dictate the lead time needed. In most cases, we will need at least two days notice but will always do our best to accommodate last minute situations.
Do you offer full bar service?
rebecca's cafe can provide all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service. We can include professional bartenders, cocktail napkins, ice, mixers, garnishes, and liquor liability insurance. Alcohol service can range from beer and wine to a full premium-brand bar. Prices start as low as $8.00 per person and will vary depending on beverages selected and the duration of the event.
Do you offer a children's menu?
rebecca's cafe has been pleasing the palates of youngsters for many years now! Examples of these crowd-pleasers are mini pizzas, chicken fingers, pb&j, mozzarella sticks, and macaroni & cheese.
What are the payment terms?
If you don't have a rebecca's cafe charge account, you can pay with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve our services for the date of your event. A 50% deposit is required one month prior to the event, and the remaining balance is due the day of the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
24-hour notice is required to cancel any event. Events for over 100 people require a 72-hour advance notice. The client will be responsible for unrecoverable charges and deposits.
